How To Guide
1. Check for tripod adapter:
Most binoculars come with a threaded socket on the front center of the bridge (the part that connects the two barrels). This socket is covered with a plastic cap. You'll need to remove this cap to expose the threading underneath.
2. Attach tripod adapter:
Your binoculars come with a tripod adapter, screw it onto the threaded socket. Make sure it's securely tightened to avoid any wobbling.
3. Attach tripod pan and tilt head:
Our tripod comes with a pan and tilt head, which allows for smooth and precise adjustments of the binoculars' viewing angle. The next step is the connect the pan and tilt head to the tripod adapter.
Here's how to use it:
Pan control:
The pan control allows you to rotate the binoculars horizontally (left and right). To use it, loosen the pan lock knob, then gently move the binoculars horizontally to the desired position. Once in position, tighten the pan lock knob to secure it.
Tilt control:
The tilt control allows you to adjust the vertical angle of the binoculars (up and down). To use it, loosen the tilt lock knob, then gently tilt the binoculars to the desired angle. Once in position, tighten the tilt lock knob to secure it.
Fine-tuning:
After making coarse adjustments using the pan and tilt controls, you can further fine-tune the position of the binoculars by manually adjusting the tripod legs or using any additional adjustment knobs or levers provided on the tripod head.
Smooth movement:
When using the pan and tilt, it's important to move the binoculars smoothly and gradually to avoid sudden jerky movements, which can disrupt your viewing experience. Practice adjusting the controls to achieve smooth and precise movements.
4. Mounting on tripod:
Once the tripod adapter, pan and tilt head is attached, you can then attach the binoculars to the tripod. Our tripod comes with a mounting screw-in plate. Simply align the mounting plate with the pan and tilt head or directly with the threaded socket on the pan and tilt head, then tighten the screw to secure them in place.
5. Adjusting position:
You have to adjustment to fine-tune the position of the binoculars. This could include adjusting the angle of the mounting plate or using pan and tilt controls on the tripod head to achieve the desired viewing angle.
6. Balancing:
Once the binoculars are mounted on the tripod, it's important to ensure they are properly balanced to avoid strain on the tripod and to maintain stability. Adjust the position of the binoculars on the mounting plate or tripod adapter until they are balanced and stable.
